The visit to the Emirates Palace was interesting, and having the opportunity to see some nice work by various artists at the art exhibition. In particular I liked the glass painting by Mariam Al Kuwaiti. It links with my ideas of making jewellery, which I intend to start working on soon.

Regarding the time spend with the artist, Mr Khaldoon I think it was interesting but I didn't find it very useful as far as developing my own work is concerned.

The idea of going to the beach and painting with my fingers did not really amuse me and it didn’t really get me to learn anything new. I suppose that I have tried something different like working in a natural environment and mixing paint with sand which was new to me.

Overall I did have a good time visiting the hotel and the exhibition.
