My thoughts about Khaldoon’s workshop
Before I went
to the workshop I had seen some of his paintings
and they were very different to the types of
paintings I would like. My style is completely
different to that of Khaldoon’s and Sana’s. The
types of paintings I find attractive would be
neat and symmetrical patterns. While in the
workshop I learned that paintings can still look
good when not being so neat.
During the workshop we worked with a partner and
smudged the paints into the paper using our
hands which is not something I would usually do.
The end results were good. The paintings looked
really nice and interesting. I learned a lot
from his workshop. I learned not to be so neat
and worried about make a mistake while painting
as it can always be changed and made to look
good.
