My visit to Emirates Palace to do an art workshop with the artist Khaldoun made a great change from the daily routine. It was good to be able to look at his work and have him to talk to us about it.

We then went to the gardens of the hotel and working on the grass, did an abstract painting on a piece of ripped cardboard. This was good for me because I normally try to do very precise and detailed work so it was different doing much more abstract, freer work.

His work has influenced me to be more open minded with my own work and have fun with my art.

Overall, I found it an enjoyable experience and I would like to thank him for this opportunity.
