I really enjoyed and appreciated
the trip to Emirates Palace. I think it was very
useful for me as I learnt that not every good
painting has to be neat and precise to look
good. I really enjoyed painting in the way that
he told us to which was much looser and quicker
than usual. I am planning to incorporate this
into my own project. However I am not sure which
I prefer yet, painting freely or painting
accurately.
Some of Khaldoon’s art work I liked and some I
did not. One of the things that I liked about
his work though was that every piece seemed to
have a story behind it which made it more
interesting and unique. I thought that if every
pupil was paying dhs 100, I think that we should
have done more.
Perhaps the trip could have been longer so that
more than just one piece of art could have been
made. Or since he is a photographer he could
have helped us to take professional photos of
some things in the building or even the
architecture of the building. That would have
helped us to link in with our projects.
Overall though, it was a very good trip and a
fun day. Thank You.
