We visited the Emirates Palace Hotel to meet with Khaldoun Daoud, who is the founder of Rowaq al Balqa Arts foundation in Jourdan. He is an artist, photographer and film maker. After having a look at his pieces of work which were out in an exhibition with many other artists' work, I found his work quite interesting because of the contrasting colours that he uses and because of the shapes that he creates. I wouldn't specially buy his pieces however I did find them very interesting.
The piece that I created on the workshop made me realise that I can make good pieces out of just making different marks with different colours. I will now try to apply what I have learnt from the workshop in the rest of my pieces of work and will try to experiment more with different shapes and colours and just go wild.
