The trip to the Emirates Palace was very interesting and informative. We looked at an art exhibition to begin with, which included a variety of paintings by many different artists. We got to meet both of them and they were able to answer any questions we had about their work and art in general which was useful.

One of the artists, Khaldoun, had very unusual ideas which he enjoyed sharing with us. His paintings seemed to reflect his personality and as they were very abstract and open to interpretation so everyone had different opinions of them. Some people found his work incredibly interesting but some of us found them a bit strange.

All in all, it was a very interesting experience.
