On our trip to the Emirates Palace Hotel we had an introduction as to what we would be seeing and doing there.

When we arrived, we watched a video of the artist, Khaldoun's work and his home environment in Jordan. The exhibition in the Emirates Palace was called ‘Colour Dialogue’ and was done by 16 different artists, all of whom are based in Jordan. After watching the video we had a look around the rest of the exhibition

We were introduced to one of the artists called Sana and she gave us a brief talk about her paintings and what she was thinking when she painted them.

We also met the Ambassador of Egypt and took pictures with him. He gave us a talk about the artwork in the gallery and how he is very interested in it.

Khaldoon took us down to the beach where we got into pairs and painted using our hands onto A2 sheets of card using 2 colours. We then put all of our art pieces together and we got the pieces of cardboard that we chose in school and bordered all the pieces of work.

After all that we got treated to fruit and we got lifts back in golf buggies to the entrance.
