Emirates Palace
“A Colorful Debate” Exhibition
was held at Emirates Palace in cooperation with
Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage (ADACH).
This experience was considered as the widest
Arab exhibition for art in the region.
Sheikh Sultan Bin Tahnoun Al-Nahayan, Chairman
of ADACH considered this experience as having a
significant impression; the Emirate of Abu Dhabi
performs great efforts to promote the cultural
tourism, and holding this exhibition was a great
opportunity to promote for this sort of tourism.
The exhibition includes 400 masterpieces created
by the participating artists from Syria, Jordan,
Egypt, Iraq, and Palestine. It aims to creating
a new philosophy of art, and exposing the
various feelings and emotions of the artists,
besides to establishing better means to promote
the culture of peace all over the world. Holding
the exhibition at Emirates Palace has created a
great mixture between the eminence of the place
and the creativity of the displayed works of
art. Moreover, it aims to attracting the elite,
who appreciate the real concept of art and
create from the Emirate of Abu Dhabi an
attractive point for tourists from all over the
world.
This gesture made by Emirates Palace would
encourage the Arab artists to continue their
creativity; considering art as the noblest
humane message that could be globally delivered.
This message also aims to creating a dialogue
with the other nations to establish the language
of peace and safety instead of the language of
conflicts and wars that is taking place all over
the world.
Khaldoun Al-Dawoud, Founder of Rowaq Symposium,
said that this exhibition is one of the widest
among the Arab world, and it would enhance the
ties between the Arab artists. Moreover, it
represents an initiative of a private entity
that has taken the responsibility to deliver the
message of art. It also represents the mutual
cooperation between Jordan and the United Arab
